Life never stands still, and neither do we. Rainbow Hub’s purpose- built Active Movement Sensory Room encourages children to be independent of their wheelchairs.
Full of soft-padded equipment, our sensory room is a safe, stimulating environment where children can play, learn and move around freely. Tunnels, steps and swings provide sensory benefits and help our professionals to make exercises fun as children develop their physical skills through our Active Movement sessions.
Sessions in the sensory room are for one hour at a time. They can be either one-on-one or in a group depending upon your child’s Active Movement needs.
Three steps to moving forward
Step 1
Contact us to discuss how we can help your child with our Active Movement service in our purpose-built sensory room.
Step 2
We’ll arrange an assessment by our Active Movement team and with your consent, speak to other professionals to create a plan based on your child’s needs and how we can help them with the use of a stimulating environment.
Step 3
If Active Movement is right for your child, you’ll be offered regular sessions in our stimulating environment with small achievable goals to help your child reach their full potential.
