There are lots of ways to help Rainbow Hub. Take on a challenge, do your own event, volunteer at one of ours, sign up or make a single ‘quick click’ donation. Whatever you do, it will brighten the lives of more disabled children and young people.
OUR CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION HAS NOW CLOSED FOR BOOKINGS.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED YOUR COLLECTION, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR UNDECORATED REAL TREE (NOT WRAPPED IN ANY ROPE, TAPE OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL) IS OUTSIDE OF YOUR PROPERTY IN AN ACESSIBLE LOCATION FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS TO COLLECT, FROM NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 9th JAN AT MIDDAY ONWARDS. THE MAJORITY OF COLLECTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY BUT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOME WILL BE COLLECTED ON SUNDAY.
Every year Rainbow Hub runs a Christmas Tree collection to help raise funds to continue our services for children and young people with disabilities. In January 2025 we collected and recycled 900 Christmas trees and raised over £20,000 and we are aiming to top this in 2026.
We are very grateful to Fletchers Solicitors, Spar and 186hr for sponsoring this year’s event, and to all of the other companies who give their time to make the collection possible.
Our Christmas tree collection is made possible by our incredible team of volunteers, and we are extremely thankful to them for their time and support. They are able to collect real Christmas trees for recycling from the following postcodes:
PR1, PR2, PR4, PR5, PR6, PR7, PR8, PR9, PR25, PR26, WN6, WN8, L39, L40, BL6
