Rainbow Hub’s first ever Zumbathon has raised over £1,600 for the Mawdesley based charity which supports children and young people with neurological and physical disabilities.
The event, which took place on Sunday 10th November at Christ Church C of E Primary School, Charnock Richard, was sponsored by CheckedSafe Compliance Solutions and Anthony Ironfield, Director, My Trusted Accountant.
Over 50 people took part and instructors, Amy Louise, Joanne Berends-Sheriff and Sylvia Skinner worked hard making the event a great success as they all danced the three hours away.
Thanks to Charlie’s Cheese and Salad Stall who supplied bananas to keep up the participants energy. Whilst Tesco, Burscough and The Post Office, Mawdesley kept them hydrated with plenty of water.
