The £10,000 award from the National Lottery will be used to fund a Parent/Child conductive education programme
Rainbow Hub received the £10,000 award from The National Lottery Community Fund @TNLComFund and the team at Rainbow Hub are delighted.
Kat Nelson, Head of Fundraising at the charity, said, “we are all over the moon to receive this fantastic award from the National Lottery Community Fund and want to thank them and all of the National Lottery players who have made this possible.”
The funds will be used to provide a specialist conductive education programme which will help 20 children (0-5 years) with disabilities and their parents/carers over the coming year. The children have missed out on a huge part of their early-years development due to the pandemic preventing them attending nursery/toddler groups. The award will allow them to have access to specialist support to significantly help their development physically, socially and emotionally whilst also supporting the parents/carers.
