Can you help us to make every day a life changing day?
Rainbow Hub is looking for a passionate and committed individual with a background in education, ideally as a headteacher, to join our Board of Trustees.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in the strategic direction of the Charity and to help shape services that will improve the lives of disabled children and their families.
We are looking for someone who can support Rainbow Hub with the development of an independent specialist school for children with brain injury and neurological conditions.
An unpaid but rewarding role where you will work alongside our Chair of Trustees, other Trustees and our CEO to shape the future of Rainbow Hub. As a minimum you will be required to attend Board Meetings every quarter, usually held in the evening at Rainbow Hub.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about ensuring that children are able to access the education they deserve.
As a Trustee you will get:
– induction, training and reimbursable expenses
– the opportunity to be involved in important decisions and develop new skills
– the opportunity to influence and shape the future of Rainbow Hub
– opportunities to use your own expertise to support others
– a sense of pride for being involved and volunteering your time to make a difference
After submitting your application you may be shortlisted for an interview with the Management Board and CEO.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check before appointment and will have the opportunity to observe a Board meeting before being appointed.
If you have the time and a passion to make a difference to the lives of disabled children and their families then this is the role for you.
